What’s Better Than Stuff? Free Stuff!

Published by OnlineCash under Free

With the release of the iPhone, there are a few people taking advantage of this. How you may ask? By giving away these iPhones for free. Why would someone give away an iPhone? Imagine the amount of publicity somebody gets for giving away such hot commodities. I would be willing to be that there will be at least 100 people entered in these contests, and that’s just the number of people writing posts about them. Then you take into account the amount of people who are reading about them but do not enter, and you have yourself a nice little viral linking session. Anyways, enough with the talk, who are these people giving away these iPhones?

The first person giving away a free iphone is Mr. GaryLee, an internet marketing guru. In order to enter his contest all you need to do is make a few links in your post. He has a new project, BunkersParadise.com and he has a fond interest in golf equipment. He also asks that you link to PinkDeals.net free online coupon things. Once you have done that it is a downhill ride until the end of August when you will find out if you got yourself a new iPhone or not.

The other contest I have decided to enter is from Rea Maor. Rea Maor is the webmaster at Ask Rea Maor and an 8GB iPhone for free is just as attractive anywhere. All he requires you to do is write 100 words about his blog and contest, a link to his main page, a link to any article you really liked, and a link to his free iPhone contest page. Would it be cheap if I were to say I really liked the post about the free iPhone giveaway? ;) Fine, I really liked the post about tech support callers because honestly, everyone can relate to them.

Well everybody, feel free to enter these contests for yourself. I wouldn’t mind an iPhone, and maybe if I get one, or two, I might just have to hold my own contest. :-D The easiest way to check for updates is via RSS.

Why Exactly Is Guest Blogging Beneficial?

Published by OnlineCash under Blogging

I have seen posts guest blogged on nearly every single blog I read. Ranging from the new bloggers just getting their feet wet, to the bloggers who have been busy for the past few years. I have read many different arguments about the pros and cons of guest blogging and decided to compile a post of my own. If you ask me, guest blogging is beneficial. There are a few reasons as to why I believe this, but even though I agree with the idea of guest blogging, there are still a few things that I am not a huge fan of.

Why Guest Blog?

If a reader sends you an article which is on topic to something you have recently posted, or is just good information that you think should be included in your blog, it is a great idea to publish it. Usually guest blogged posts are error free (usually) especially when they are submitted to larger blogs. If your material is going to be read by a larger audience, you want to sound like you know what you are talking about. If you are grammatically incorrect and your writing does not flow very well many people will be turned away.

Another great reason to guest blog is because it gives you a little break and breaks up the monotony of your blog. If you are writing day in and day out, granted your readers are there because they enjoy your style, information, or knowledge, it is a nice change of pace to hear somebody else’s opinion with a different writing style than they are used to. Especially if the guest blogged post contains relevant information, your readers will enjoy a small change.

Additionally, guest blogging is a way to help yourself and fellow bloggers. There are a few different explanations for this point. First of all, if you are particularly busy and somebody wants to help you with a guest post, it saves you some work and time, yet you still get great content across to your readers. On the same hand, you help them out by providing them a little traffic (depending on your traffic levels) and their material is read by a different audience than they currently have. Finally, if you are the person who is submitting a post to get guest blogged, your traffic will increase, as stated earlier. However, if you are fortunate enough to be accepted by a widely read blog, you should and probably will see a huge traffic increase for a day or two.

Why Not Guest Blog?

Like all great things, guest blogging is good in moderation. If your blog turns into a guest bloggers paradise, you will be viewed as lazy and people may stop reading your blog because of the drastic changes. This is a completely different story if your blog is hosted for the sole purpose of multiple articles. However, if you have written the material by yourself for some time, and then decide to switch things up by turning your blog into a guest’s blog, your readers will definitely not be pleased.

Overall, guest blogging can be very helpful to jump start traffic to a new blog, or liven up a blog that has been lacking in the traffic department. Personally, I have not had or done any guest blogging yet, but it’s never too late to start, is it?

3 Great Reasons Why You Should Blog

Published by OnlineCash under Blogging

Now that Online Cash Flow is nearly 2 months old, I can explain a few of the things I have learned along the way and make a few contributions to those who helped me. Two months seems like a very short amount of time, but I feel as though I have been blogging for years. I can only imagine the amount of knowledge I will gain from my online experiences. Anyways, if you are a fellow blogger, you probably already know these tips. If you have not yet started a blog, or were a blogger in the past, here are 3 Great Reasons Why You Should Blog!

1. Spend Time Learning About Your Passion(s)

Understandably you can learn about your passions without blogging, but blogging gives you a great reason to learn about them. If you are not knowledgeable about your writings, there is no point is undergoing the process. A great quote which entails this attitude is one by Epictetus. He said, “It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows”. Do not be stubborn when blogging. Live with the attitude that you can learn something new every day, and try your hardest to complete that goal. A personal example dealing with this same case relates to when I was in middle school. I wanted to learn something new every single day, so each day I would read 1 page from the dictionary. Obviously I did not know every single word on the page, so I would write down one word that I thought was interesting each day and pretty soon I had a long list of words.

2. Build Lasting Relationships

As of right now, I cannot say I have built any lasting relationships. However, I have made plenty of new acquaintances and spoken to a lot of bloggers about various topics. Speaking with other people is also a great way to expand your horizons, share ideas, and become more knowledgeable. Isn’t that one of the great reasons to blog? As I explained earlier, I would like to make a few contributions to those bloggers who have taught me something, either directly, or indirectly. Before I started blogging, I had obviously read around and understood a lot of different people’s thoughts. The first blogger that I took something away from was Steve Pavlina. His post about making money blogging was very intriguing, and I figured if his income levels could increase so substantially, why can’t mine? The second blogger who I have learned from is John Chow. Many people call him a scam or a plagiarist, but I have learned a few things about blogging from him, and I thank him for that. Another blogger that I have learned a few things from is Darren Rowse. When somebody knows what they are talking about, it is good to absorb their information. The last blogger I would like to mention is all of the people who have/do blog at Net Business Blog. Some very interesting articles have been published there, and I have learned my fair share from all of the authors there. As a final note, JohnCow has a great start to something that can be a huge income earner.

3. Potential Money Making Opportunities

Whether you plan to make it your full time career, or do it as a part time experiment, blogging has potential income opportunities. Now there is next to nobody making that kind of money, but as I explained #1, if you are passionate about your topic, the money will be an added bonus. It can also be a reason why you strive to write day in and day out, and try to grow your blog or business to be something with full time income potential. If you think monetizing your blog will hurt, I have written an article that I think will sway your insights a little.

Conclusion

Overall I would make one last suggestion. Make sure you are having fun. If you are blogging and not having fun, then it is just another job and you will not be rewarded for a long time, if ever. If you enjoy writing but are not having fun, I would recommend a change of topic to keep things new and exciting. And remember, it is no crime not to be perfect.

eDataJob And You - Part 4: Common Sense

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, eDataJob

Now that you have read and understood the previous factors dealing with eDataJob: Money, Research, Time, you realize that common sense plays a role in anything you do. This situation is no different.

To begin, you should be constantly thinking about making the best decisions for yourself and your business, and these decisions are properly made when you are thinking clearly. I will explain in more detail a few examples as we continue on through this post. However, because this system deals with advertising, you want to think like a buyer. The best way to do this is to put yourself in their shoes.

How Do I Think Like A Buyer?

When you are searching for products to advertise, you want to make sure they look attractive, sell able, and professional. If I was searching for a product to buy and it looked as though the website was setup by a 12 year old who had just learned how to use MSPaint, I would be far less inclined to purchase this product, regardless of what it was. Take a look below and tell me which website you think looks more professional.

I hope you decided that Website 2 looks more professional. If you did not, take a closer look. Website 1 uses no special effects, very bland coloring scheme, and text that is difficult to read. If you look at Website 2, the colors are very vibrant, the text is easy to read and looks professionally designed. This is one aspect of using common sense.

Additional Ways To Use Common Sense

Now that you know to look for a professional layout, there are still other tips you need to be aware of. For simplicity, and for this case only, let’s use these 2 websites we just explained (Website 1: Non-Professional Layout, Website 2: Professional Layout). After you look over the aesthetics of the website, it is time to examine what they are selling. You look and find that Website 1 is selling a product that guarantees your video editing knowledge will increase and you will be guaranteed an entry level job. Website 2 guarantees and extra 2 unique visitors to your website. Even though the website looks professional, it does not mean that their product is worth advertising for. This is the number one mistake that people make when using the eDataJob system.

Final Word

I understand you have just heard a lot of information about this system, so it might take some time to digest, but as a final reminder I would like to say if you find a product that is converting like crazy and you are turning huge profits, make sure you stay on it. Many times these products are in and out, so if you find a hot product, milk it for all it’s worth, and then get out so you can maximize your profits. Isn’t that why we are here, to maximize our online income? :)

eDataJob And You - Part 3: Time

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, eDataJob

I am happy to provide you with part 3 of my eDataJob series. If you have not yet read part 1 or part 2 I would suggest taking a look at those so you understand what I am talking about. In part 3 I would like to explain how you will need to spend some time to properly understand the program, but once you have done so, time will be used to your advantage. As explained before, in order to succeed in many opportunities, you need to do research to learn your business, you must spend time doing this research, and many times you will also need to spend money up front before you can make any real income. This is all part of the investment.

How Much Time Do I Need?

In order to understand the company well enough to start making money, you can invest as little as 1 hour per day for less than a week. However, if you are interested in being more knowledgeable about this opportunity, you can spend as much time as you want learning about the keyword prices, the various niches, and what exactly it is you want to sell. As I explained before, I invested very little time during the first week and I made a few hundred dollars doing so. Since then, I would say I spend less than 5 hours per month with eDataJob and I am still making profits.

Why Do You Spend So Little Time Now?

I have been asked numerous times about why I spend so little time now with eDataJob. The answer is very simple: I am very knowledgeable about the company and understand what I need to do to make money because of the time and research I did in the past.

Since I spent time doing research and learning as much as I could when I started, I now have the knowledge and can spend my time elsewhere while still earning income from eDataJob.

Be Smart With Your Time

If you are truly interested, spend your time efficiently and be sure you use Common Sense (part 4) when you are learning about and setting up your business.

eDataJob And You - Part 2: Research

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, eDataJob

If you have not yet read part one of the series, I suggest you take a look at what you need to invest in the system before you begin. Some of you are wondering what kind of research needs to be done in order to succeed in the online advertising world. On the same hand, many of you are completely aware of the ins and outs of the business and what to do and not to do. As the title states, in order to succeed in most things you need to put forth some sort of effort. In this case, you need to research.

What Do I Research?

There are many different things that you can research, but to begin I have a few recommendations. First of all, when advertising it is nice to know where your keywords rank within your niche.

Seen above, you will notice that in order to have a maximum click through rate, you would need to spend just over $7.00 per click for the keyword “make money”. We all know that the make money online industry is very competitive and therefore the keyword prices will run you very high, but if you are able to find keywords that are related to your niche but not very expensive, you will thrive in the online advertising industry.

Along with the basic research to understand how your unique campaigns will work for you, you can research other campaigns and other keyword slots. You can run tests on keywords and see where your advertisements rank given the amount of keywords and bid price you have set.

Also, I would recommend that you shop around at the various ad networks for various reasons. First and foremost, you can find better deals on your keywords and therefore save yourself money when advertising. If you are willing to spend a lot though, you can still do the same thing while increasing your potential readers.

According to Alexa.com, the top 3 websites for traffic are Yahoo, MSN, and Google respectively.

Very interesting that you can advertise effectively and maintain a budget on the 3 highest traffic websites in the world.

Any Additional Recommendations?

If you did not already notice, the bid image above is from Yahoo! Search Marketing. I actively advertise there and really enjoy the way their services work. I have used both AdWords and MSAdCenter in the past, but I am currently solely with Yahoo.

If you are willing to spend time and knowledge learning about how to succeed, it is very easy and all of this can be self taught given you have some sort of motivation.

In the next few days you will see posts about Time, and Common Sense - In the meantime, figure out a niche you would like to work with and start tracking statistics of everything you can. The more information you have the better off you will be.

eDataJob And You: Part 1 - Money

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, eDataJob

I have made a couple references to eDataJob in the past, but I would like to explain in more detail the premise behind this great opportunity. The system is best explained in a few steps. These are all requirements if you wish to succeed after signing up for this opportunity. Money, Research, Time, Common Sense. Since I can explain each of these 4 in detail, I have decided to make this a 4 part series.

Money

I am not a big believe in deception or dishonesty, which is why I’m explaining the money part first. Of course with any great opportunity, you need to have some sort of investment. With eDataJob, you need to invest $47 to join. I understand exactly how you feel after reading that. “$47, that’s stupid.” “Why should I have to pay to earn money” - I felt the exact same way, but when I first signed up, I looked at it as an opportunity to make money from home, and if nothing else, it was an investment I decided to make.

What exactly is this $47 for?

To be honest, the $47 is for training and tips. Granted if you are familiar with online advertising and the methods behind the madness dealing with internet marketing, the other opportunities are still tremendous. Before I signed up I had no clue as to what anything was in the whole industry. You may think I’m a professional, but I have only been signed up since January 7th, 2007. Ironically enough, I made $70 on the first day after signing up. Don’t be fooled though, some days are hot and some days are not - but, since January, I have made enough money to buy a car.

As the saying goes, time is money, and once you are setup you can literally invest no time into your “business” and still make money. There were weekends when I went away, came back to see that I made over $300. Another thing I would like to say is that please do not take my figures as guarantees. I have also heard of people who have not had the kind of success I had, but still enjoyed smaller benefits from this program. Either way, at least check out the rest of the information.

Coming tomorrow… Research.

$5 Winner On July 4th

Published by OnlineCash under Miscellaneous

The riddle for $5 contest has been answered and there were actually 3 people who got it right. The answer was something similar to this:

When you drew that Fish And Chips sign, you should have put a hyphen between “Fish and And” and “And and Chips.

Of course there are different variations, but you understand the point.

I just wanted to make a brief post and hope everybody who is celebrating has a Happy 4th of July. Also, if you do intend to use fireworks and/or alcohol ;) - do so safely and I’ll have a new post tomorrow.

Have a great night.

God Bless America.

New Contest: $5 Reward

Published by OnlineCash under Contests

With the completion and success of my first contest, I have decided to hold another contest, with a bit of a different twist. With the idea of the last contest, the reward was for a free website review. Understandably, some people are not interested in a website review, but instead in a reward like cash, or other tangible objects. This is where my new contest idea comes into play. For the sake of this contest, I have turned on complete moderation of comments so I can filter through them before publishing. Do not worry, if you submit the correct answer first, you will be rewarded the $5.

What Is The Contest?

The contest rules are very simple, and the goal of this contest is to have a little fun, while rewarding readers for viewing Online Cash Flow. Here are the rules:

I will pay $5 via PayPal to the first person who answers this riddle correctly using the comment form on this post.

Here is the riddle: Put together a coherent English sentence that uses the word “and” five (5) times consecutively.

If you think you can answer this riddle correctly, leave a comment and I will filter through the results. Depending on how quickly it is answered, that will determine how quickly the winner and result is posted as well.

Good luck to everyone!
