The Future: Positive Outlook

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, Business

As always, I read successful blogger’s blogs. After all, if they are making a full time income from their blog then they must be doing something right. Much of this post’s content was found on Darren Rowse’s blog, Problogger.

Blogging is hard work, and will take a lot of time to generate any significant income. However, take a look at some of the information Darren has written about.

What would happen if your blog that is earning $1 per day were to increase its daily earnings by 100% each month for a year? How much would you be earning this time next year?

• After 1 month it would be earning $2 per day…
• After 2 months it would be earning $4 per day…
• After 3 months it would be earning $8 per day…
• After 4 months it would be earning $16 per day…
• After 5 months it would be earning $32 per day…

If the earnings are to stay steady, things are beginning to look good. A decent income so far, but by all means, nothing that you could live off of comfortably. Now, take a look at these next figures:

After 12 months it would be earning $4096 per day…

To me, those numbers are extremely enlightening, and make me want to work hard at achieving something so large. Even if I do not reach those levels, if I can make a substantial income online while helping people with the information they need to do the same, I will feel as though I have succeeded. Thanks to Darren Rowse for providing such an exercise and making me think about what could happen in the future.

I recently came across Viralink and I have weighed the pros and cons. I believe it will be beneficial to those who use it. I got an email from a fellow blogger, Andy Coates, and he presented me with this opportunity. I have decided to take it.

The Build And Sell Mentality

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, Business

Recently I have been looking at sites for sale to see how much a potential website is worth given a certain amount of traffic. There are some pretty interesting online businesses listed there. If you are looking to buy a website and build it up even more, or even try to just resell it for more, I suggest you look at the SitePoint Marketplace. You will find some of the following sites in the marketplace:

1) Software Buisness with up to $35000 a Month - ScreenShots
2) Game-Era.com: Great PC & Video Game Portal
3) Affiliate based site. GPT with over 21,000 members $2,500+ a month

If you are trying to start a business or find a business that is already established, this is a great place to look. Personally, I prefer to build up my own website, and I’m not planning on selling it either. Although it is a “business” domain, I was thinking about making a personal website as well. However, much of the material on this site is from my personal experiences. Enjoy!
