Inspirational Quotes - Thanksgiving Edition

Published by OnlineCash under General, Quotes

I haven’t written an edition of inspirational quotes in awhile, so I figured what better time to do it then right before Thanksgiving. Understandably people celebrate this day different, or not at all, but being that many of the readers are from the United States, I assumed that many will be appreciating this day as well.

For every person who climbs the ladder of success, there are a dozen waiting for the elevator.

The interesting thing about this quote is that it relates to every aspect of life. Whether you notice people in their educational career, their athletic career, or their working career, there are many people who are looking for the easy way out.

Each of us has two ends; a sitting end and a thinking end. Success depends on which end we use.

Again, a very true quote. Personally, I have made some relatively bad choices and have paid for them. It is learning from these situations and making the most of the good choices that will lead to success.

All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today.

As I have said a number of times, success is not something that happens instantly. You need to work hard to achieve it, whether you are looking for financial freedom or happiness. Work hard now and you will reap the benefits in the future.

The surest way to go broke is to sit around and wait for a break.

Of course it is always nice to catch a break, but you need to work hard to achieve your goals. Waiting for something to happen is the key to failure. Be a playmaker, take the “game” into your own hands and make something happen.

People don’t fail, they give up.

Persevere. Whether you are learning about blogging, becoming a car mechanic, or running a business, do not quit. If you work through the difficult times you will be rewarded in the end. A perfect quote to re-illustrate this one is: When the going gets tough, the tough get going. If you find yourself on hard times, whether it be an overload of work or a shortage of funds, stay strong and do not give up. With that mentality it will be extremely hard for you to fail.

I wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy Thanksgiving, and hope you enjoy the time off (if you are so fortunate to be able to have time off).

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! :)

Wednesday is Hump Day

Published by OnlineCash under General, Blogging

As I have done at various times in the past, I think writing about other blogger’s posts every now and then is a great way to associate yourself with them, as well as provide your readers with a different scope of content. On top of that, it forces you to read and re-read content that you have read so you can better understand what fellow bloggers are writing about. Fortunately, it is easy to pick out articles that are well written and have useful information, and many times those people have similar experiences to yours.

Here they are… The articles of the week:

Affiliate Marketing Videocast - [UberAffiliate]
Killer AdWords Tips - [Google Lady]
Super Affiliate PPC Guide
- [Zac Johnson]
Long Term Saving - [Lewis Empire]
Warren Buffet Secrets - [4EvaYoung]

Side note: There is what I believe a little promotion going on at John Cow. I can’t decide if I like it or if I think it is cheesy. Either way, I bet it is making some money.

I hope everyone has a great week. I should be back tomorrow, and as always, have a great day.

Also, I had a great weekend in terms of RSS subscribers… I finally decided to put my count up as it has reached where I hoped it could.

(It’s not real).

October Cash Flow Income

Published by OnlineCash under Make Money, General

After a successful month of earning online in September, I decided it would be a great place to start documenting earnings. With that, I published the first month of Cash Flow Income during September. Now that it is a month later, it is time to document the progress that was had during October. I am happy to say that numbers increased in almost every area, including the overall income for the month. Let’s hope to see these numbers keep increasing as time goes on! Like I said last month, there is no better motivation for improving than if someone else knows where to chart your progress. Here they are… the October numbers!

Maximize Online Income!

  • Affiliate Sales: $501.88
  • ReviewMe Reviews: $140
  • AdSense: $43.04
  • Free Offers: $89.65
  • Other: $91.50
  • TOTAL: $866.07

Not a bad month considering September yielded less than $650. I’ll take 37% growth each month… watch out Google! According to SiteMeter, Online Cash Flow received 3,126 unique visitors and 4,752 page views. Alexa rank has dropped to nearly 350,000 and after the nice page rank update, OCF is now PR3!

What Did I Learn In October?

If you work hard and work smart, you will be rewarded. Not only will other people be more willing to help you achieve your goals and dreams, but there will be numbers to prove it. Alexa rank decreased, page rank increased, RSS subscribers increased, income level increased. Everything went the way I hoped, and there are no signs that it should stop.

If you are interested in advertising here, now that it is PR3, please contact me and we will work something out. I am also thinking about getting a custom design to breakup the monotony of having the same theme as some fellow bloggers, but again, even custom themes run into duplicate layouts. There are only so many unique layouts that can be made.

Also, advertising costs will remain the same for the remainder of November, and depending on how things go we will work from there. Similarly, ReviewMe Reviews will remain at the same price for the time being. If you want one, it is relatively easy to order one up, or you can do so directly through me.

I have heard a few requests asking how I am making so much money from affiliate sales, and the key is to promote marketable items. If you are marketing something that has a very low turnover, there is almost no way you are going to make sales.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Finally, The Weekend!

Published by OnlineCash under General

To wrap up my week, I’m going to provide you guys with some (what I believe) interesting content. However, it was not published by me. I usually compile a list of articles to read over the weekend, but I have so many in my list that I decided to read a few now and provide you all with some great material. Enjoy!

I’ve Issued A Writing Challenge - [Ryan Shamus]
Free Trip To PubCon - [ShoeMoney]
Never Be Tired Again - [WebMD]
The Economics of Blogging - [Dosh Dosh]

Enjoy the weekend everyone. Oh, about those new opportunities I have been talking about? I have unleashed one of them. Feel free to check it out here: Online Cash Clicks - Get Paid To Click!

I know it’s a paid to click site and all, but I will pay people when they reach $5 payout, and it is a fun project to work out. I recommend you all go take a look! If nothing else, the advertising is next to nothing there, and you will get substantial amounts of traffic. I will post reports on stuff about that in the coming weeks.

Have a great weekend.

Thursday Entertainment

Published by OnlineCash under General

To break up the monotony of it all, I have decided to point your attention to some entertaining posts and words from fellow bloggers. Personally, I have had a busy week and have some great posts coming up in response to a few readers emails and comments with regards to how I am making such a substantial amount of my monthly income from affiliate sales.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy these entertaining and interesting posts. I have touched base on a couple of these items before, but if you have yet to check them out, I bet you will enjoy then. I sure did!

1. Website Value Calculator

To begin it all, I wanted to intrigue everybody and provide you with the opportunity to check what your websites are worth. Of course, this cannot be entirely accurate, but it is definitely interesting to discover.

Enter the website URL below to determine its value. These numbers are estimates only based on criteria available to the domain name; It does not provide a value of the company behind the website.

It claims that Online Cash Flow is worth just over $900. Any takers? ;)

2. Page Rank Predictor

This is another very interesting tool that I have written about extensively. You can read more about it and what it does in my post on the page rank predictor, and again in my post questioning and explaining the page rank update.

Predict your page rank!

3. Ways To Be Happier

This post is very interesting and contains some facts that I had not previously read. Take a look at how you can become happier.

It wasn’t long ago that researchers believed that every human being was born with a set “happiness point,” a fixed and unavoidable baseline level of happiness. On its face, the idea appears to have merit: Tsunami victims, amputees, and lottery winners alike eventually return to their previous emotional baselines. In other words, no matter what mega-high or ultra-low you find yourself riding, eventually your happiness will seek its own level.

4. Very Weird…

This last one is compliments of John Cow, and it is extremely entertaining. Read further…

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird. Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford.’
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘Lincoln’ made by ‘Ford.’

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here’s the kicker…

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe.

Be prepared for some content-rich posts about affiliate marketing, and the whole make money online thing. I will touch base on some advertising principles (how to work the system), some SEO tips and tricks, as well as other ways both conventional and not, to make money online.

Vital Weekend Information

Published by OnlineCash under General, Blogging

With the result of the weekend, I have a few pieces of critical information. I am working on a few larger posts and developing the proper time to post them to maximize readership as I believe they are important for bloggers as well as the general public. Anyways, here is the good stuff.

If advertising on a website with the following sounds interesting, then please contact me.

Advertise With John Cow

John Cow dot Com has a monthly average of ~50,000 unique visitors with nearly 400,000 page views. The blog is targeted for Internet users, bloggers, aspiring entrepreneurs and dairy lovers in general.

Site Stats

  • PageRank: 0 (Predicted strong PR5, possibly 6)
  • Alexa: 15,757
  • Technorati: 3,055
  • RSS readers: 440+

Advertise With Online Cash Flow

On the other hand, if advertising with a predicted PR4 for $5 a month sounds attractive, then please contact me as well.

Advertise For Free

If paid advertising is not your style, then I suggest you take a look at this information.

Contests For Exposure

As I have restated time and time again, I am running a free promotion contest in order to help increase exposure for many bloggers. It is very simple. Check it out!

Additional Tidbits
Also, keep your eyes open as I will be writing a few in depth articles about additional free advertising, and how to go about receiving it. There is only one thing greater than traffic to your blog. Free traffic to your blog!

New Server Is Amazing

Published by OnlineCash under General

The new server is extremely fast and has an abundance of space. I’m sorry about not having a post today, but that will change tomorrow. In fact, it’s already set to publish tomorrow morning. I’m not a salesman or anything, but I love GoDaddy and their services, customer service, and how easy it is to use their services. If you are looking for a new provide, I strongly suggest checking out GoDaddy.

On a very related note, with the new server comes new project(s). I am working hard and thinking of ideas. I’m not very creative, but I’m thinking of making something like the million dollar homepage. However, take that idea and make it 100% free and that’s more of what I’m thinking.

Why Host A Link Site For Free?

Why not? Help the community bloggers as well as myself. Who’s to say that I can’t be a part of my own project? ;) Anyways, I will be posting more information about that next week.

Enjoy the weekend and the posts I have written. I am going out of town and will be back Sunday.

Note: I finally took my own advice and decided it would be a good idea to do some timestamping.

And Finally…

Published by OnlineCash under General

I am done (I hope) with the switchover. After about 6 hours of backup, copying, pasting, setting up, shutting down, exporting, importing, publishing and just about any other word you can think of that deals with databases, hosting accounts, or data in general, I am finally done.

If you notice something not functioning properly, contact me and I will get it fixed.

The Results

Published by OnlineCash under General

Well, got the results from the tests and I am not very happy. Turns out instead of having either tonsillitis or mono, I have both. Unfortunately, I did not have a lot of time last night as I was busy with the doctors and taking a few naps to try to break this virus, so I was unable to write content again. It’s been a very difficult 3 weeks and I am just not feeling very enthusiastic or energized about much of anything. Even on weekends when I am supposed to be resting, I sleep as much as 14 hours and I am still tired. Enough of the woah is me though, I will have some useful information for you all tomorrow. Yet again, I’m very sorry, but sometimes when you are ready for a fastball you get a curveball.

I’m sure you probably did not learn much from this post, but I would still recommend subscribing to my RSS feed as useful information is about to flow like the cash we are going to make!
