TextAdapt - Online Advertising Adapted to Performance

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Advertising

It has been quite some time since a ReviewMe review has been ordered here, but TextAdapt ordered one and asked that I write about their service, and asked me to use it to give them further insight about what I think of their services. Personally, when someone goes out of their way to ask you to try their product or service, for free, it shows that they truly want your insight and feedback about what you think.

About TextAdapt

After delving a little deeper into the TextAdapt website, it is extremely obvious as to what the founders are looking to accomplish.

TextAdapt was founded by two friends who set out to perfect the way ads are delivered online. Frustrated with irrelevant and annoying ads that promise results but rarely deliver them, these two entrepreneurs realized that no system existed that actually collected and utilized the data readily available about performance of campaigns. Thus TextAdapt was born.

The idea behind the TextAdapt system is basic, yet very effective. If they can manage to perfect their idea, they will be very well off in the online business world.

Another very interesting thing that was mentioned me prior to this review, was some of the other services that they provide. Bob explained that:

we basically are able to place ads dynamically to find where the highest site conversion rate for the advertiser is achieved. We also manage bloggers’ affiliate programs so that you can make money off of affiliate sales and you don’t have to worry about the day-to-day operational grind involved with having an affiliate program.

To many people, this service is a goldmine. Personally, I enjoy testing various ad positions, sizes, types, but many people are either too lazy, or too busy to deal with these tests that can make or break their online incomes. The ability for TextAdapt to provide this service, definitely proves that it will be worth your while to use the service.

Before reading into their website, I figured that the logo was just that… another logo design. However, there is some meaning tucked within their logo. Personally, I enjoy when companies are able to incorporate some type of meaning behind their design, and TextAdapt did just that. If you take a look at the About TextAdapt page, you will realize just what their logo represents.

The TextAdapt Logo – Each stripe from our logo represents one of our core principles: perform, adapt, customize, and simplify. Frustrated with the offering of today’s online ad systems, we built TextAdapt around the idea that advertisers and content providers could work together to maximize one another’s end goal. Through TextAdapt, advertisers deliver more effective ads through our performance-based system, and content providers maximize the value of their content without losing readers through our simple and customizable ads that adapt to the places they perform best on.

Similarly, they offer various explanations about their Technology, and the validity and ability to perfect performance.

What I Like

With all the services popping up today that offer less than required service, but require some kind of payment, it is great to notice a service with such great potential as TextAdapt… and it’s free!

Also, everything on their interface is right in front of you which makes navigation trivial. Especially as a new service, allowing your viewers instant access to the tools you offer suggests you are there to help them.

Another thing I like, is that the co-founders of TextAdapt provide a background of who they are, and why they are going to make this website succeed.

Who exactly are we?

With his expertise in database systems, Jan developed the technology behind TextAdapt. Jan has over 6 years experience delivering technology systems for the Financial Services, E-Commerce , Identity Protection, and Robotics industries. Jan recieved his BS in Computer Science from Georgetown University.

Bob brings the business side to the equation, bridging the gap between marketing and financial return. Beginning his career in banking, he quickly moved into online marketing by consulting and driving marketing efforts for several startups, a university and a Fortune 100 company. Bob received his BS from Georgetown and his MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship…

This is a small excerpt of their qualifications, while you can read the complete list on their About page.

Potential Changes

At times, the font can be a little difficult to read, so I would recommend a different font face and a slightly larger size. One thing you need to realize is that not everyone has great eyes and you do not want your readers to have to squint to read your material. On the same hand, you do not want your font to be size 18 for your entire site. I would recommend Arial or Tahoma, and probably size 12 font (it might be, but with my resolution it looks as though it might be set at 10px).

Also, I tested the contact form, and the nav bar (advertisers, publishers, about, technology, contact) became vertical based as opposed to horizontal. A quick page refresh fixed the issue, but it might be something to look into fixing.

Lastly, there is not title on your For Publishers and For Advertisers pages, as they are simply listed as Untitled Page. I can only imagine that this was something that was looked over as content was being developed, as it has happened to me more times than I remember. Very quick and easy fix.

Overall

Overall, the website is very easy to navigate, has ample information for interested advertisers and publishers, but I can imagine it being difficult for some people to read.

Try TextAdapt Now!

Give TextAdapt a try. Not only is it free, but the number of services they offer to help increase your traffic and make you money online are enough to make you satisfied with their services.

Try it now!

Reducing Me - Weight Loss Journey

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Miscellaneous

As some of you may know, Shoemoney and John Chow had a little RSS competition and were competing to see who would achieve the most RSS subscribers over the course of a month. As both of them were trying to implement various prizes to encourage users to subscribe, many people submitted prizes. I, for one, decided to offer a ReviewMe review, and a text link ad in my featured links spot. Well, as the drawings were made, Cindy from Reducing Me was the lucky winner of my review and text advertising. As you will notice, she writes about her weight loss journey and what she does along the way.

As I was researching her website, it was very interesting seeing some of the changes she has made, and the drastic lifestyle change that she is willing to make in order to succeed.

Being a health enthusiast myself, I was very interested in reading about her journey.

Who She Is

Very little navigation brought me to the About page, and I read about who this “Reducing Me” person is.

Hi, My name is Cindy and this is my journey. I found out on August 9, 2007 that I have Type II Diabetes. I decided that I didn’t want to take pills the rest of my life and that I can fix this. How? For starters, I need to lose a lot of weight. Over 100lbs to be honest . So, on Friday, August 10, 2007 my journey began

After hearing news like that, there are a few different ways people could express themselves. Deciding to work at improving her lifestyle and bettering herself is by far the best choice she could have made. On top of that, she also has a few other things to deal with.

A little more about me? Well I am a 30 something married mother of two who lives in the USA. I work full time in addition to my mother/wife duties. I always joke and say “I’m going to my second job now…Home!”…wait that’s no joke.

The lack of time is one of the oldest excuses in the book as to why people do not exercise. However, it takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes a day, 3+ times per week and you can notice significant changes. Of course you have to be willing to make sacrifices as well, whether it be your total calorie intake, your beverage choice, or your overall diet. However, if you can manage a family, work full time, and still work out… that is very impressive.

How She Is Doing

If you take a look at her progress page, you will notice that not only does she post numerical weight loss values, but she has pictures to prove it.

Anybody can claim to have lost any number of pounds, but when they put up pictures to prove their statements, it becomes meaningful. On top of that, it becomes more important to them to continue on their journey, as people have images to benchmark their progress or lack thereof. Keep up the good work, Cindy!

Advice To Reduce Yourself

One of the posts I enjoyed reading, was when she wrote that “diet doesn’t mean starvation.” I couldn’t agree more with that statement. In fact, you should eat more frequently when you are trying to lose weight so that your body realizes it will always have food and will never go into “conservation” mode. This will effectively keep your metabolism working as quickly as it can.

However, after delving deeper into this article, I noticed something that is definitely a common misconception with more than a handful of people.

Of course one of the biggest things to remember is you have to drink TONS of water. I typically drink 80-100 oz of water a day. It does help flush out your system, makes your skin look and feel better and helps keep you full. I used to drink Diet Pepsi which is still ok because it is diet, but not very good at replenishing your body with water.

Understandably, diet pop may have no sugar or calories, but it still contains phosphates. Essentially, phosphates (in both diet and regular pop), pad fat cells. What that means is that in order to burn fat, your body must now work that much harder because you drank pop.

Another piece of advice I would like to offer, is that she eats a lot of protein throughout the day.

Morning snack: (about 2 hours after breakfast)

Protein of some kind. Turkey breast, 3 oz of tuna, protein bar, protein shake etc.

Snack: (about 2-3 hours after lunch)
Protein again

Dinner:
Chicken breast, steamed veggies, 1/2 cup rice or potatoes or baked beans

Now, don’t get me wrong… I love protein and consume a lot of it. However, fiber and whole grains are much better choices of snacks because they fill you up and will help give you that feeling of being full. I found an article about it here, and it is completely true. Either way, you are making progress and that is what is important.

Take a look at Cindy’s journey, and see the progress she is making. On behalf of the Online Cash Flow community… best of luck Cindy!

Shadowscope: Eclectic News and Insights

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Contests

As per the Want Something For Nothing contest, I promised an advertisement in the sidebar for 2 months, a ReviewMe review, and a new banner/header redesign. As Richard, Shadowscope’s owner, has declined the design prize, I have added another contest to make sure someone gets it! I suggest you take a look at his blog, some of the writing is very interesting.

General Comments

Having no idea what the blog is going to be about, it was very interesting researching and writing this review about it. First off, the layout is unique, and a lot different than many sites I have been to. It almost seems as though Richard is trying to generate a few additional AdSense clicks with how the main page is laid out.

As you can see, he has placed an AdSense text block above his header. From what I have seen, that is innovative thinking, as many blogs have their navigation bar up there, and some people probably click the ads on accident. I wonder how those click through rates are?

Aside from that, the actual navigation toolbar and items are in the right column. In total, it takes 21 times of hitting the PageDn key (at 1280×1024 resolution) to reach the bottom of the page, and 10 times to reach the bottom of his right column navigation tools. Personally, I believe that is way too much to have on a single page, and it becomes very crowded.

On top of that, I am not a huge fan of the color scheme, but to each his own.

What Made Shadowscope?

Upon researching into his blog a little bit, you can easily find the About Richard page.

I am a 40 years old and am married to a wonderful lady and have three children ranging in ages from four to eighteen. My son (the oldest) has joined the U.S. Marine Corps and is leaving for boot camp on June 18th.

I am a full-time district manager of three 24 hour full service restaurant/diners and basically a full-time blogger as well.

Politically I am inclined to be a Libertarian although I belong to no party. True libertarians do not belong to a political party. Socially I am very liberal and believe in live and let live, while fiscally I am fairly conservative at least where the federal government is concerned.

If you find any of my views at all scary or offensive, please feel free to go somewhere else.

There is nothing like a blogger that comes out and is honest with who they are and what they feel. Of course some information should and will be kept confidential, but to learn a little about the person behind the writing definitely makes some people more inclined to enjoy the work, and some people will stop reading it. After all, you are targeting your writing towards a certain crowd.

About Shadowscope

I did not get a chance to ask Richard about this image, but it appears on his right navigation column on each page. I’m not sure if it is a cartoon depiction of what he looks like, or just an image that he thought adds some personality to his website. I think it adds a nice touch and breaks up the otherwise bland column.

Within the navigation column he writes about the blogs he visit frequently, the bloggers he has met, and the bloggers he wants to meet.

After the long list of that, he includes some traffic statistics. Nearly every blogger is interested in the Alexa ranking, and if you are not, you should be. A 78,000 Alexa ranking is pretty impressive for a blog that is not directly writing about a particular niche. Delving a little deeper into his traffic statistics, he averages 172 unique visitors each day. With some proper monetization techniques it would be very easy to turn some substantial revenues with these figures (unless of course that AdSense “trick” is working already).

It appears that a substantial amount of Richard’s posts are targeted towards his family and friends. This is obvious as he posts a variety of pictures of his children and wife.

What Else

While doing one of my 21 PgDn maneuvers, I noticed a very catching picture on his website.

Why did this picture catch my attention? Well not only is she very cute, but I have a picture of myself when I was little doing the exact same thing: bathing in the kitchen sink.

Shadowscope archives date back to January 1999. Not only is that a long time to have one blog, but the ability to still be blogging nearly 9 years later is amazing. Of course that seems like a super long time because I have only been blogging seriously since May 2007, but none-the-less, that is a great achievement.

That just goes to show you that if you are writing about something you truly care about and believe in, in Richard’s case it appears to be his family, then it is very easy to maintain your schedule and continue writing.

Creating A Text Link Revolution

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Advertising

As a person develops their website, if not right away, they soon begin thinking about generating traffic. Whether you are running an e-commerce business or a personal blog, most people do not publish their material online with the intention of having nobody read it. If you enjoyed writing without caring for people to read it, you would simply save it on your computer. With that in mind, TNX.net decided it would be appropriate to order a ReviewMe review to generate some extra traffic and exposure to their website. Like many other opportunities I review, I believe TNX has some great potential to be a successful link building community.

What They Offer

If you browse TNX.net, you will quickly notice that one thing you are able to do is buy links. It seems to be a pretty promising idea, because if you look at their network statistics, some of the numbers are staggering.

The fact that they have sold over 30 million ads is pretty interesting in itself.

A few interesting things that set TNX.net apart from other text link publishing websites, is the ability to purchase, sell, and use “points” for the sake of advertising. It is said that about $23 will buy you 20,000 TNX points that will stay on your account until you place an order. There are some pretty interesting things you can purchase for 20,000 points.

What can you do with 20,000 TNX-Points?
In case website characteristics are not important (Yahoo Backlinks [YB] below 500, category “Leisure, Humor…”, geo-targeting: UA&RU), then you can buy a month (in case spots are available) of static links to your site:

- 20,000 different PR0 pages from different websites
- 400 different PR1 pages from different websites
- 200 different PR2 pages from different websites
- 100 different PR3 pages from different websites
- 40 different PR4 pages from different websites
- 20 different PR5 pages from different websites

If I am understanding this correctly, you will have 20,000 links for the cost of $23. That is about one tenth of one penny per link. I don’t care if these pages have 0 traffic, that is literally next to nothing for a backlink.

Using the system is made extremely easy with their interface. Not only is it user friendly, but it is put together nicely as well.

Along with the ability to purchase an abundance of links, there are various features to make sure the services are being used properly.

System TNX.net is capable of the following:

to prevent abuse by webmasters:

- regular automated check of availability of all paid links on partners’ websites
- regular automated check of Google PR changes for each partner’s site
- automated check of site’s ranking in Google
- manual moderation of each participating site, maximum precise assignment to topical category

There is a lot more information than that, but I did not want to post the complete page. You can read more about the system capabilities here.

Additional Features

Along with the ability to purchase backlinks at fractions of a penny, they offer an affiliate program as well.

The purpose of any partner program is to attract new participants and advertisers to the system. When you bring a new webmaster to the system, you will receive 13.3% of all “TNX-points“, he/she will earn in the future (a reward for referring an advertiser is also available). This amounts to almost half of the system’s commission! Interest is paid for the lifetime.

Lifetime commission is almost always a positive factor when deciding a company or offer to advertise for. Although many of these programs do not hold up for life, the notion and realization that you will potentially earn a percentage of someone’s earnings indefinitely is always heartwarming.

Free Points

If you are interested in signing up, I would definitely recommend doing so. Not only are you getting backlinks at extremely low costs, but you are presented with the opportunity to have some of these links be completely free. If you read through this post on the Digital Point Forums, you will be given 2000 TNX points absolutely free.

Aside from that, after you sign up you will notice that navigation within the system is extremely easy. Whatever you may need to find, it is right there in front of you.

I view TNX as a great opportunity to gain some additional exposure, and the fact that this exposure is as cost effective as it is makes it that much more interesting.

In the end, successful internet businesses of all sorts require traffic. If you cannot drive traffic to your website (if you are simply a designer, then of course this is the marketers job), then you are failing at being as successful as you can be. Without this traffic, your business is setup to fail. Do yourself a favor… purchase cost effective advertising and be rewarded in the long run.

Internet Marketing With knupNET

As usual, Ryan, the owner of knupNET, decided it would be appropriate to order a ReviewMe review to increase his exposure a little bit. One interesting thing about his website, is that the URL is actually http://www.knupnet.com. It threw me for a bit of a loop the first few times, because I figured it would just be knup.net. Anyways, if you are looking for insight with internet marketing, new online ideas, or general news within the “making money online” arena, knupNET is a must visit. With a very neat layout, it is extremely easy to navigate and you can find any and all information you seek in a matter of minutes.

What You Will Find

To begin, you can read a little about Ryan as a person and as an internet marketer. As many of us, he has a long term goal, and among all else, money plays a factor.

Hello and welcome to knupNET. I am Ryan Knuppel (a.k.a. knup), a 28 year old ‘internet marketer’ and founder of knupNET. I have been in the internet marketing field for 5+ years now and have started, developed and maintained several successful websites. I also own tons of websites that are not developed yet but just need a plan to do so! I do this as a hobby and my accumulative earnings are in the low hundreds a month range. I’m striving to get that number into the 4-digit a month range to make internet marketing more than just my hobby!

I found that people are more prone to believe your material if you describe yourself a little so they can somewhat relate to you on a more personal level.

Another very interesting thing and a statement that made me want to read his blog is the following:

One thing that has hit me hard recently is… How am I helping OTHERS in this field? All of my sites have really been about me in the past. While knupNET will be optimized to make some earnings - it’s really about and for YOU - the reader.

Reading a statement like that makes you feel welcome and wanted. Fortunately, I can personally attest that that is a true statement, as I am featured on knupNET in an advertising slot.

Navigation within knupNET is far from difficult. As I explained earlier, the site has a very plain layout (which definitely does not carry a negative connotation), and everything you would need to see is right there in front of you.

Including The Community

Another thing that I enjoy is reading about posts that are pertinent to “making money online.” Of course they are everywhere, but when you read articles that are recommend by other people, usually they have more meaning.

Helping other people throughout the community is always something people look for. As you help others, you never know when others will help you out as well. It is always nice for either to happen.

Knup’s Portfolio

Seeing people’s previous and/or current works is always something that should interest you. If you go to a website and someone claims to be a successful “internet marketer” but they cannot drive traffic to any of their other websites, you question their logic. However, when you notice that their other websites are striving, their credibility is very strong.

Check out his portfolio!

As you can see, this is just an introduction to the depth of his portfolio. In fact, he has a list of 14 websites within his portfolio, and 10 more which he plans to develop in the future. That is a sickening workload!

A knupNET Overview

If you have not yet visited knupNET, I would definitely suggest it. With an attitude like his, and the willingness to help others, it is hard to find somebody like that in the online business. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are plenty of people like that, but in the grand scheme of things, the percentages definitely sway the other way.

Visit knupNET.

Make Money Online: The Unconventional Way

Published by Jeremy under Make Money, ReviewMe Reviews

After reading my previous ReviewMe reviews, Online Casino Bluebook ordered one up almost instantly. Normally I would not accept an offer for a website like this, but since I write about making money online, and technically, you can make great money from gambling, I have decided to write a little about it. Personally, I think gambling is a waste of money, but to each their own.

Why Accept This Review?

As I stated, I write about informing people about maximizing their online income. Whether you decide to earn money conventionally, or through other methods, that is up to you. I usually inform people about making money through blogging, free offers, or affiliate offers, but I decided to add a new twist. After all, a set mind is a closed mind.

Online Casino Bluebook is a free online guide to popular online casinos. They frequently update their top 10 casino list, as the last update was placed in October 2007 (less than a week ago at the latest).

Navigation of OCB is very easy, as they only have a handful of links on the left sidebar.

Aside from that, they offer various news items and a few definitions about gambling and the associated terms. If you scroll to the extreme bottom of the left navigation bar, you will see the following:

Casino Games - Learn more about casino games at wiki.

Online Casinos at Wikipedia - Overview of gambling at Wikipedia

As an online guide to casinos, I see it as being beneficial that you inform your readers and potential affiliates about some basic terms.

What Else Do They Offer?

If you are having trouble finding an online casino, they will personally help suit your needs.

Still searching for the perfect online casino, than email us at support@onlinecasinobluebook.com with what your needs are in an online casino. We’ll get back to you with the online casino that fits your desired tastes.

Granted there are a few grammar errors here and there that could be fixed up, but as a whole, the services they claim to offer seem genuine.

Within their Terms and Conditions page, they briefly explain a few terms and place a few ground rules to help relieve any liability in case something they recommend turns out to be a flop for their readers.

If you take a look at their About Us page, they make some pretty interesting claims.

- Established in 2000, (when online casinos started turning up on the internet)

- Online Leader in online casino reviews and casino rankings

- Features include online casino blog, casino forum, and bonus reviews

There are a few things to say about those claims. First of all, if they have been around for 7 years, I would hope that they could have a more detailed layout of their website. Granted content is the main attraction, but a professional look will almost always help sell your service or product, while making you look more credible at the same time. Also, claiming to be an online leader in casino reviews and rankings may be one thing, but proof would definitely increase the strength of that statement as well. Finally, after much navigation, I failed to find the blog or the forums anywhere on the site. Within the Site Map all I could find were the same links that were listed on the side navigation along with some more gambling offers.

One thing that is very intriguing to me, and I think it would be to potential customers (those who join these casinos), is the listing of the welcome bonus for these various casinos. Inter Casino claims to be offering $1200 to new users, but I do not see how they can make money while handing that much money out.

Overall

Overall, Online Casino Bluebook had a plain layout, but seemed to have a lot of content and potential offers for casinos to join. Unless I navigated poorly, they also made a few false claims or misrepresentations of services they offer and provide.

Personally, I would recommend spending a little more time on the layout of the website and working on a few grammar and spelling errors here and there. Similarly, providing a more detailed description about the benefits of joining various casinos might increase exposure and people’s desire to join.

If you want a more detailed explanation or tips about how to improve your website, please contact me.

Real Time Connectivity

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Business

Nearly every business is becoming accessible from the internet now, and increasingly, so is the need for global interaction. One of the most difficult problems to solve within a business, is how to consolidate the employees, information, and assets. With AccuConference, it is very possible to solve these issues. This ReviewMe review is a great way to gain some exposure, and to better inform the general public of exactly how viable these services are becoming.

What Is It?

AccuConference is striving to be known as the ability to have complete control conferencing. If you have dealt with communication issues in the past, you realize how important it is to remain connected during an important meeting or conversation with colleagues or friends.

The variety of services is a great reason to think about AccuConference for all your virtual connectivity needs.

At AccuConference, we offer a broad array of tools to meet business needs. With various packaging and pricing choices, including customizable options, there are cost effective solutions to fit any budget. We offer competitive pricing and have a promise to offer our customers the best price up front.

Why AccuConference?

As I noted before, the need to connect people globally is becoming increasingly more important, and that is one of the reasons as to why you should use a conferencing layout.

Customers are our number one priority. Customer service representatives here at AccuConference, available around the clock, service requests from pre-call to post-call, and even during the call, if necessary. When it comes to service we will take whatever time necessary to fully resolve our customer requests.

Along with putting customers first, it is always great to know the prices of their services. With a detailed layout, it is very easy to pinpoint the cost of your potential call.

They also have information about fixed pricing in case you are more interested in making these conference calls more often.

If that isn’t enough, they offer a pretty bold statement themselves about why you should choose their services.

Call now to discover what it feels like to reach a customer service agent within seconds. No touch-tone menu, no waiting on hold, just a real live person. If you dial 1.800.977.4607, a conference call specialist will answer the phone quicker than it takes to read this paragraph. It won’t cost you anything and our agents are very informed so you will get your answers quickly. Experience the 8 / 5 / 100 rule - 8 seconds hold time, 5 minute setup, 100% satisfaction.

Claiming they can process your call faster than a McDonald’s drive through is an impressive statement to make. Their statement has some bearing though, as AccuConference provides a detailed list about services they provide as opposed to their competitors: AT&T and Web Ex. Of course AccuConference’s services are far better than their competitors, or they would not be so forward in making such claims. Either way, the differences are significant.

Other Information

If you aren’t interested in the services they offer, they have a pretty attractive affiliate program, which I plan on joining. There are numerous reasons as to why you would join, and the increasing need for these services is a big reason.

There are three ways you can earn referral rewards:

  • You can receive a 5% residual commission, every month, on amounts paid by customers you refer, or
  • You may receive one American Airlines AAdvantage® Mile for every dollar paid by customers you refer, or
  • You can receive a gift card for $20 for each customer referred.

Whenever I read something about residual commission, it is a great opportunity to earn money continuously.

If these services are of any interest to you, feel free to contact AccuConference with any questions you may have.

The web developers doing web site hosting use dedicated hosting for individual search engines to increase the quality of the data transfer. The seo services working with the broadband networks further streamline the operation going on in a website and the search engines. With the huge upsurge in the internet marketing and the affiliate program sponsors the web business is multiplying in leaps and bounds. Several netfirms engaging in the internet business are further increasing the scope of internet advertising all around the world.

Bid 4 Traffic - Web Bidding Directory

Published by Jeremy under ReviewMe Reviews, Traffic

Not even 2 weeks accepted and I have been provided with the opportunity to review a website thanks to ReviewMe. If you would like to order a review, either contact me directly or order it through ReviewMe. Bid 4 Traffic is a relatively new site, and the objective is to sell link spots to help increase traffic to your website. Because this website is so young, there is currently no page rank. However, it is predicted to be either a 4 or a 5. If that happens, the amount of traffic will definitely increase, and so too will your exposure.

What Does It Do?

Bid For Traffic is similar to many other directory websites but it has a few different functions. To begin, you can host your link within the directory for a cost of $1. However, if you want to be placed at the top of your category, you must outbid the other link submissions. It is a very neat and effective way to generate traffic and buzz as the idea is unique and breaks up the monotony of the other link submission sites.

Another unique function is the ability to be featured on the front page. Here is an excerpt from their About page:

Bid4traffic is an easy way to bid on links. Our link directory displays links in categories, and lets you bid your way to the top of the list. With a starting bid of $1, you are guaranteed a spot in our directory!

Increase your bid to take a top position on your website’s category, and not only will your link list higher in the directory, but you could join our Top 10 Link Leaders on the homepage and get massive exposure.

As you read, if you are listed as one of the Top 10 Links you will be featured on the homepage and you can effectively maximize your exposure.

Currently, the top link bid is set at $36. A pretty cheap price to be featured as the top link on a webpage that is gaining exposure exponentially.

Why Pay For A Link?

There are many benefits to increase your link exposure, and mainly it is to become known in as many places as possible. If you check out Bid4Traffic’s Features page, they list a few advantages as to why you should join their program:

Constantly Promoted
To make these links the most valuable possible, every dollar earned on bid4traffic.com is invested in getting more traffic and better rankings.

Good Ranks
Better rankings like Google pagerank, SEO MOZ Pagestrength, Alexa rankings, will provide better link juice to your website.

Good Content
By allowing to download and use free phplinkbid templates on other bidding directories, webmasters will keep visiting bid4traffic.com to increase rankings.

I’m not sure if all of the money is in fact re-invested into the company, but if that is the case it will be extremely beneficial to helping the company grow and increase their chances of obtaining new members.

What Are The Rules?

There are a list of policies that you can read here, but I will highlight a few of them.

Links are listed permanently in the directory, but position is determined by bids.

Links can be removed at any time for violating policies.

No illegal or adult site links will be allowed.

Bids are non-refundable.

It is pretty self explanatory and seems like a very easy system to use and join. Honestly, as I write more about Bid4Traffic, I am leaning further towards joining.

What Types Of Sites Can Join?

You can check out the list of directories, but here are a few of the most popular ones. Ironically, Directories has 16 submissions, Automotive has 8, Web Development, Blogs, and Games all have 5 submissions. Here is a more detailed picture of the layout.

How Easy To Use Is Bid4Traffic?

I would say that navigation and use of bid for traffic is extremely easy and the overall functionality of the site is great. The layout is sleek yet professional, easy on your eyes, and everything you need to know or find is right there in front of you.

Is There Anything Else?

That’s not all. If you are interested in creating a directory site of your own, bid for traffic makes that very easy. They provide phplinkbid templates for you to download for free.

.

They also offer blue and red templates, but I cropped them out of the image.

As explained earlier, these provide a great way for traffic retention as people who are interested in creating their own directory sites can download and use these templates for free.

Overall

All in all, bid for traffic has an effective layout, is a great business idea, and is extremely easy to use.

At the price of $1 for a link, it is an extremely low cost way to generate some extra traffic to your website.
