What Social Bookmarking Rankings Mean To You
As the weeks roll on, I have noticed steady increases in many different areas. Whether these increases have come in earnings, traffic, or ranks via Technorati and Alexa, they are coming.
As a blogger, you may wonder what exactly these numbers mean to you, aside from the obvious facts. There is a lot more depth behind the number rankings you can notice when researching the importance of your blog.
First and foremost, higher rankings means that your blog is being viewed by more people. Some people are unsure of the importance of this. A larger viewer base means more income for you as a blogger. This income stream is provided through many different ways.

Not only will your advertising revenues increase, but the possibilities for other income increases as well. As people realize that your traffic is increasing, they are more apt to purchase direct advertising on your site, purchase reviews to be published on your site, and/or are more prone to continue reading your site because they enjoy the content you provide them. If you are having trouble increasing your traffic you can use direct advertising, which is very easy to sign up for and use. Another method I would recommend would be a free drawing or contest. My first free drawing has just been posted, and the traffic numbers have seen steady increases.
As long as you are patient and do not expect to go from nothing to everything overnight, you too can become a successful blogger. Working with other people in the community is a great way to start off.
