Win a 24″ Wide Screen LCD Monitor
As I was reading John Chow’s blog, I noticed he was holding yet another free contest. The contest is for a chance to win a 24″ Wide Screen LCD Monitor. John Chow dot Com, a blog that helps you make money is giving away a 24″ wide screen LCD monitor! If you would like to enter for a chance to win, you just have to write about it. I don’t know about you, but I would love a 24″ monitor! The contest is sponsored by BlueFur, who wants to let you know that they’re hosting Canada and the rest of the world.

I have learned a lot from bloggers like John Chow, and the contests he holds are a great way to help people out and also draw traffic to your own site.

You say you have learned a lot from bloggers like Chow Chow? Do you mean that damned takeoff artist, scam, and plagiarist from johnchow.com? Where have you been keeping yourself, Jeremy…
I have learned a lot from him. The plugin post (I have used a lot of the same ones he has) and a couple other posts have been informative. Granted, I probably could have learned these things elsewhere, but I found them from him first.
But does that fact seat well with you? It looks like it does, so you follow the seo linkbaiting, by the way you promote the plagiarist within search engines and your readers, Jeremy. Maybe it would be better to promote writers of original content, don’t you think so? ]:->
Maybe I am misinformed, but where is he plagiarizing from, and/or what content? I would definitely agree with you if that was the case, but I was/am unsure if that is in fact happening.
Are really sure that Chow Chow is advanced in SEO, XHTML, PHP, and all other “gold tips” that he writes? No, he is only advanced in copying one’s content, and talking big. I bet your ass his first story on Digg was digged by his own 50 accounts, or staff from crappy TTZ. However, I have written a nice post about that fibber. After publishing I noticed his avatar in my MyBlog stats, in few moments he deleted a pingback signal on his blog. By the way he has stolen my little JavaScript tip about hiding affiliate codes in hypertext links, and had it published as his own a few days later =D

There is your comment below this post, I have thought you read a post before adding comments
I do read posts before I comment. There were a couple points you made, but nothing to explain that he’s a blatant “plagiarist” as you have said. Did you honestly create the javascript code to help hide affiliate links? If so, then credit would have been due. However, if you found the tip somewhere else, then it is just like writing about a new plugin or other feature.
Well, shall I add a linkback to the JavaScript Documentation? Man… It’s honest to write about sources, I always add linkback to the source if I write a “common news”.
